About A&A BALLET

A&A BALLET is led by internationally acclaimed artists and former Founding Artistic Directors of the Joffrey Academy and Joffrey Studio Company, Anna Reznik and Alexei Kremnev. The A&A BALLET offers a wide variety of classes, performance opportunities, and training for dancers ranging in age from three to adults. 

Reznik and Kremnev bring a wealth of ballet experience and understanding through their syllabus based primarily on purity and a clear structure of the Russian school. Additionally, their deep understanding of the current and most progressive approaches to dance and movement have a earned A&A BALLET their reputation for producing strong, dynamic, sophisticated dancers. With former students currently dancing with companies such as The Joffrey Ballet, New York City Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Staatsoper Berlin, Dresden Semperoper,  Nederlands Dans Theater and numerous others, Reznik and Kremnev’s A&A BALLET offers the necessary experience to create artists of all levels, from professional dancers to those with a deep appreciation for dance of all forms.

About A&A Ballet and the School of Performing Arts

A&A BALLET is in Collaboration with The School of Performing Arts.  A&A BALLET and SPA are devoted to artistic excellence. The School of Performing Arts has a 27 year history of providing dance, music and theater training to children ages 6 months to 18 years and adults, and is widely recognized as the premier arts education school in metropolitan Chicago. A&A BALLET provides guidance, directorship and instruction for The School of Performing Arts Dance Department. A&A BALLET and The School of Performing Arts offers a world-class ballet training at both their Naperville and Chicago campuses.

 

Pre-professional ballet program Overview

The Pre-professional Program is designed for Ballet Level II+ students who want a more rigorous ballet experience. Using the clear and universal structure of the Russian school, with a great knowledge of the most advanced teaching methods, the curriculum successfully prepares students for a professional dance experience. The program is devoted to training in strong, versatile dance technique as well as the development of personality, independence and artistry in young dancers, Students choosing this track will be required to take multiple ballet classes a week and must make a yearly commitment to the program. Acceptance is by audition only.

 

Youth Company

A&A BALLET Youth Company is a group of talented dancers (ages 16+) who would like to continue their training and have performance opportunities with A&A BALLET. To audition, please send your resume and a 5 minute video to aacenterfordance@gmail.com

 

A&A BALLET Company Coming Soon!

Going through very rigorous and structured training through the dance program the dancers of the Youth Company have a chance for a professional employment with A&A BALLET Company (to be opened in 2018).

Conservatory

The Conservatory Program is designed for serious students (ages 10-21) who are interested in and available for morning and afternoon training (high school graduates or home school students). These selected groups (Juniors, Seniors) work daily under the supervision of Anna and Alexei. Intense classes in Ballet, Pointe, Men's, Variations, Partnering (seniors), Contemporary, Repertoire, Choreography and Artistry are part of the curriculum. Young dancers in the Conservatory work on overall technique, preparing for competitions and company auditions. Anna and Alexei pay personal attention to each student, and carefully discuss a development plan for each of their futures.
