Holly Stauder

Holly began her professional career in the Lyric Opera Children’s Chorus at age 12, and has been performing ever since. While in college, and after graduating with a BFA from Illinois Wesleyan University, she continued to work professionally, garnering credits at Utah Shakespeare, Bigfork Summer Playhouse (MT), and Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre (FL), to name a few, and would eventually settle back here in the Chicago area, start a family, and continue performing.  Holly has been seen in nearly 100 productions throughout Chicagoland, including her most recent role as Maurice in Chicago Shakespeare’s, “Madagascar,” and before that, The Bird Lady and Miss Andrew in Mercury Theatre’s, “Mary Poppins.”  In addition to teaching and vocal directing here at SPA, Holly remains a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association, serving as a Councilor on its Central Regional Board.  Holly is very excited to join the Faculty here at SPA, and could not wish for a more supportive, nurturing environment for its young performers.
