Medina Irsalieva is one of the most knowledgeable teachers for young dancers. She joined A&A Ballet in July of 2016. Medina was educated at the legendary Vaganova Ballet Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia and graduated with a Master’s Degree in Teaching and Choreography from the world famous Russian Academy of Theatrical Art (GITIS) in Moscow. Medina has great knowledge of classical ballet repertoire, pedagogy and danced as a Principal Dancer with the Kyrgyz National Opera and Ballet Theater, and with the Youth Ballet of Kazakhstan. She has taught as a faculty member at the State Ballet Academy, Salt Creek Ballet and the Joffrey Ballet Academy under the direction of Alexei Kremnev and Anna Reznik.
