In this six week course, students will have the opportunity to participate in group and private instruction on solo and ensemble repertoire from operas. We will be learning the history of opera literature, especially pertaining to the opera they are singing from.
Beginning students learn the fundamentals of their instrument. We provide group classes for piano, violin, cello, and classical guitar. The students will work on their musicianship through singing, rhythm, movement, listening and playing songs. Students will enjoy making music and participating in age appropriate group activities and games.
This class is for anyone in private lessons, currently, with permission from their private teacher. Various combinations of instruments will be put together to work on ensemble repertoire, lead by Sojung Hong.
